Mark Street, M.D., specializes in internal medicine. “I chose outpatient general internal medicine because I enjoy developing long-term patient-provider relationships and working together to best improve their health,” he said.
Dr. Street says his inspiration to pursue a career in medicine came after watching members of his family navigate through difficult health situations. “I really appreciated the care they received and wanted to help provide that same support to others going through challenging times,” he said.
Now, as a provider in the field of internal medicine, he works toward improving patient care by maintaining open avenues of communication and staying up-to-date with the latest advances in medicine.
Dr. Street wants patients to know that when it comes to staying healthy, it’s important to not only get plenty of exercise and maintain a balanced diet, but to schedule your health screens early and often.
When Dr. Street is not at work, he can be found spending time with his wife and family, enjoying a good book and drinking a cup of coffee. A fun fact about Dr. Street is that his brother, Dr. Scott Street, is also in the medical field and practices dentistry right here in Tulsa.
