About Amie Farris, APRN-CNP

Amie Farris, APRN-CNP, has been a health care professional in the Tulsa area since 2013. Before joining Utica Park Clinic, she worked with pediatric patients. It was here she discovered a passion for palliative care. “I learned helping children with chronic illnesses, life altering injuries and terminal diseases can be emotionally taxing, but also very rewarding,” she says.

Palliative care allows Amie to assist patients and their families to work toward maximizing their quality of life by creating a specialized plan. “It’s a privilege to empower people to make treatment decisions that are in line with their personal goals, hopes and values,” she says.

Amie brings an optimistic approach to work amidst the often challenging nature of her field. “It is an honor to be allowed into people’s lives, often during trying times,” she says. “I embrace the opportunity to make a positive impact every day.”

Amie’s personal interests include traveling, volunteering, cooking and photography.
