About Daniela Romo, APRN-CNP

Daniela Romo, APRN-CNP, specializes in family medicine at Utica Park Clinic. Her professional areas of interest include preventive medicine in family and emergency medicine. She speaks fluent Spanish.

Daniela’s fascination with the human body and science led her to pursue a career in medicine. Her desire to help others and the sense of fulfillment from positively impacting a person’s life is what reassured her she was on the right career path.

Her decision to work in family medicine came from her time as a nurse in emergency medicine. She said, “I developed my focus and specialty by witnessing the needs of families in our community, firsthand. I wanted to make a greater positive impact, promote wellness and advocate for health equity.”

Now, as Daniela works to build relationships with patients on the clinical side of health care, she does so by listening, welcoming open communication and accepting patients for who they are.

Daniela’s go-to advice she shares with patients is, “Remember that even small lifestyle changes will impact your outcome in life. It all begins with you.”

Outside of work, Daniela enjoys traveling abroad, hiking, skiing and spending time with her family and her dog, Coco.
