About Daniel Bond, D.O.

Daniel Bond, D.O., specializes in obstetrics and gynecology (OB-GYN) at Utica Park Clinic. His professional areas of interest include robotic surgery, minimally invasive surgery and high-risk obstetrics.

Dr. Bond decided to pursue a career in medicine and become a doctor after his first year of college. He said, “My mother was diagnosed with a rare chronic health condition that left her in and out of the hospital for over a year. I was so grateful for all of the doctors that took care of her and ultimately saved her life. This inspired me to pursue medicine so I could provide that level of care to my future patients.”

After completing his clinical rotations in medical school, Dr. Bond realized he wanted to specialize in OB-GYN care because he saw a large need for women’s health providers. “I was instantly drawn to the fast-paced, ever-changing and exciting environment that comes with this specialty. Nothing can replace the feeling of helping bring new life into the world and the satisfaction of helping the women in my community live healthier lives,” he said.

Now, as Dr. Bond grows his practice, he also works to build relationships with his patients. “I try to connect with all my patients on a personal level by asking about their children, hobbies and interests. I think when you find out you have something in common it makes it easier to address my patient’s health-related needs,” he said.

Advice that Dr. Bond likes to remind not only himself but his patients too is, “Try to learn something from everyone that you meet.”

When Dr. Bond isn’t at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, who is also an OB-GYN resident doctor, and their two children.
