About Halie Muckelrath, D.O.

Halie Muckelrath, D.O., has worked in the health care industry in Oklahoma since 2007 and has practiced family medicine since 2017. She chose this career path because she wanted to help her family and friends with their health concerns. “Throughout my life, I have had loved ones suffer from many ailments,” she said. “I desired to understand their disease processes and determine ways to treat and prevent them.”

Dr. Muckelrath knew she wanted to be a rural family medicine doctor from an early age. “Growing up and visiting with my rural family medicine physician, it was impressed upon me the huge impact he had in his patients’ lives,” she said. “He was able to offer all-encompassing care and cultivate long-term relationships with his patients and their families.”

When caring for patients, Dr. Muckelrath’s philosophy is to provide the highest quality of medical care through building long-lasting relationships with open and honest communication. “Patients are always my first priority,” she said. “I give my best effort in applying my skills, experience and up-to-date practices to maintain healthy and sustainable lifestyles for them.”

In addition to family medicine, women’s health is a specific area of expertise for Dr. Muckelrath.

When she is away from the office, Dr. Muckelrath enjoys date nights with her husband, spending time with her two young children, watching Oklahoma City Thunder games, antiquing and being outdoors.
