About Kristin King, M.D.

Kristin King, M.D., specializes in neurology at Utica Park Clinic. She is fellowship trained in movement disorders. She said, “This provides me with expertise in conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, dystonia, Huntington’s disease, ataxia and more. I also enjoy general neurology including migraine treatment. I am skilled at botulinum toxin injections for migraines, dystonia and spasticity.”

Dr. King has wanted to be a physician for as long as she can remember. “My father is a family practice doctor. As a child, I always looked up to him and admired the relationships he had with his patients,” she said.

Dr. King’s love for neurology came to fruition during her time in medical school. She said the variety of neurologic diseases she was introduced to fascinated her and has kept her curious ever since. Dr. King said she enjoys this specialty because she is able to provide continuity of care as she helps patients manage their ailments.

When it comes to building relationships with patients, she adds, “I am able to relate to many of my patients because unfortunately, I have experienced the effects of neurologic conditions in close friends and family members.”

Outside of work, Dr. King enjoys spending time with family. She adds, “We love traveling, particularly to the lake. We have been exploring Oklahoma and have camped in several state parks.”
