About Coulson Huntington D.O.

Coulson Huntington, D.O., specializes in family medicine at Utica Park Clinic in Pryor. His professional areas of interest include preventive care and obesity medicine.

Dr. Huntington has always had an interest in science and all things medicine. “Two of my uncles were physicians and they were a source of information and inspiration helping me decide on my path,” he said.

Dr. Huntington chose to specialize in family medicine because of a close influence in his life. “My grandpa was a jack of all trades and instilled in me that same mentality. Family medicine lets me practice that,” he said.

When it comes to building relationships with his patients, Dr. Huntington starts simply by listening and getting to know the person and all of their health goals. He reminds patients that, “It’s up to you where you want to go. You drive, I’ll give directions.”

Outside of work, Dr. Huntington enjoys doing DIY projects, reading and mountain biking. While he does not consider himself fluent, Dr. Huntington does speak advanced Spanish.
