About Amara Nandikolla, M.D.

Amara G. Nandikolla, M.D., a medical oncologist at OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center at Hillcrest, is triple board certified in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology. She is passionate about providing care to those with cancer and related illnesses.

“Every patient is unique,” she says. “I am committed to going the extra mile to provide individualized, quality care for each one.” While she is particularly skilled in the areas of hematology (blood), gastrointestinal oncology (cancer in the digestive system), genitourinary oncology (cancer of the urinary system) and aggressive cancers of the brain, she welcomes the opportunity to help you with any hematology and oncology concerns.

“I am fully invested in being a partner with each patient and his or her family throughout their journey,” she says.

Dr. Nandikolla’s interest in hematology and oncology started early in her medical training when she was impressed by the amount of progress being made in those areas. “The advent of new and evolving therapies makes this an exciting and encouraging time in our field,” she says.

Dr. Nandikolla’s personal interests include cooking and spending time with her family.
