Christopher Treat, D.O., is an Oklahoma native and board-certified orthopedic surgeon. He is fellowship-trained in shoulders, elbows and hands and treats pediatric and adult patients. Dr. Treat practices general orthopedic surgery and has a subspecialty interest in hand and upper extremity care. He specializes in the evaluation and treatment of the hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, and shoulder, and microvascular reconstruction. Conditions he treats include trauma, arthritis, sports injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, fractures and cysts, as well as peripheral nerve and vascular disorders.
Dr. Treatโs family was influential in his career choice. โI grew up in a medical family,โ he explains. โI have always enjoyed the sciences and helping others.โ During his third year of medical school, he was introduced to orthopedics. โIt was love at first sight.
