About Brittany Young, APRN-CNP

Brittany Young, APRN-CNP, DNP, specializes in internal medicine at Utica Park Clinic (UPC). She focuses on chronic disease management, preventive care and empowering patients through education to take an active role in their health. “I listen to the whole person – not just symptoms – so we can create a care plan that truly fits their life and goals,” she said.

Her inspiration to enter medicine came from caring for her father after two life-changing accidents, which sparked her passion for nursing and ultimately becoming a nurse practitioner. Brittany enjoys caring for patients, building long-term relationships and helping patients navigate every stage of their health journey.

“I build trust by listening, involving patients in decisions and treating them with compassion and respect,” she said. Her advice to others is, “Health isn’t about perfection – it’s about progress. Small, consistent steps add up to big results.”

Outside of work, Brittany enjoys time with family and friends, chasing after her kids, exploring the outdoors, traveling and picking up new hobbies.
