About Madison Winterscheidt, PA-C

Madison Winterscheidt, PA-C, specializes in electrophysiology (EP) at Oklahoma Heart Institute (OHI) Hospital. If you have an abnormal heartbeat, an electrophysiology study may be done to test your heart’s electrical activity to determine if or where the abnormal heartbeat may be and the next best treatment.

A passion for problem solving, creative thinking and being involved in the health of her community has led Madison to a career in medicine. “Cardiology and electrophysiology have been an interest of mine since starting school,” she said. “I enjoy that cardiac health has such a strong influence over nearly all other aspects of health as well as the challenge of it being such a complex and dynamic medical specialty.”

Madison values building relationships with her patients. As visits develop, it allows for more open and candid conversations to be held. She said, “I think it is so important to get to know my patients so that I can better understand their health goals and help them to become an active participant in their care.”

When Madison isn’t working, she can be found enjoying a good book, cooking, traveling, going to concerts and being active. She also co-hosts a monthly book club with her friends.
