About Brooke Kohler, Au.D.

Brooke Kohler, Au.D., specializes in audiology at Utica Park Clinic. Her professional areas of interest include diagnostic audiology and working with ENT (ear, nose and throat) providers to provide the best care for the patient.

Dr. Kohler’s inspiration to pursue a career in health care came from her motivation to want to help others. She said, “Connecting with people and their families is a wonderful experience and I am grateful that I get to do that daily.”

Dr. Kohler said she discovered audiology in college and loved the science behind hearing and balance, as well as being able to help improve people’s communication abilities. Dr. Kohler values the relationships with her patients. She adds, “It is important for me to listen to how hearing loss or vestibular problems may be affecting a person’s daily life. This is the first step to a successful appointment.”

Some of Dr. Kohler’s favorite advice to remind patients of is that “It is important to advocate for yourself when you don’t hear or understand well. Ask others to get your attention and reduce background noise before conversations.”

Outside of work, Dr. Kohler enjoys spending time with her children and husband.
