About Jessica Henry, APRN-CNP

Jessica Henry, APRN-CNP, specializes in family medicine. “I chose family medicine because I wanted to have the ability to work with patients across different life spans,” Jessica said. “Having six children of my own, I love caring for children, but with that said, managing complex health issues in adults and geriatric individuals are also of interest and I wanted to be able to do it all.”

Jessica became interested in health care at the age of 8 years old when she was by her grandfather’s side for several months in a burn center. “Watching the nurses care for him was intriguing and this ultimately led to my interest in medicine,” she said.

Jessica builds relationships with her patients on communication and honesty. She wants her patients to feel comfortable talking to her and to always feel like they can ask any questions.

“I never want a patient to leave my office and have questions that weren’t answered or leave my office feeling like they weren’t heard. I’m here to care for the patient and part of my job is making sure that their needs are met, and questions were answered,” she said.

Jessica’s professional areas of interest include management of migraine headaches, rheumatology and diabetes management.

When Jessica isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her children, going to the lake, sporting events and just spending any free time in the outdoors.
