About Darren Vargas, D.O.

Darren Vargas, D.O., practices obstetrics and gynecology (OB-GYN) and has been in health care since 2017. “I was driven to pursue health care by my love of science and my passion to help people,” he said. “Becoming a physician has allowed me to merge these two loves into a job that is constantly challenging me but also rewarding at the same time.”

Dr. Vargas chose to focus on OB-GYN because he enjoys being a part of such a special time in a woman’s life. “For me there is no greater joy and honor than taking care of women through their pregnancy,” he said. “The opportunity to walk side by side as you embark on the most exciting, scary and wonderful journey of your life is what called to me the most.”

Dr. Vargas practices in most areas of OB-GYN. He can assist you with anything from basic obstetrics to high-risk pregnancy to treating infertility. He performs various types of surgical procedures to correct abnormal uterine bleeding, urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and more. “I focus on the entire person,” he said. “I’ll strive to make sure you feel heard and then together, we can formulate a health plan that accomplishes your health goals.”

When he is away from the office, Dr. Vargas enjoys spending time with his family, being outside, golfing, fishing, hunting and wood working.
