About Elizabeth Lambert APRN-CNP

Elizabeth Lambert, APRN-CNP, specializes in women’s health at Utica Park Clinic. “My patients might not expect to laugh during their visits, but I try to insert compassion and humor into every visit,” she said.

Elizabeth decided to pursue a career in medicine following a pivotal time in many people’s lives. She said, “After 9/11 I became convinced I needed to do something to help people in times of need, so I went to nursing school.”

Choosing to specialize in women’s health was an easy decision because she has always been drawn to it. She said she loves teaching women to live their lives well – a piece of advice she still reminds patients of today. “Live your life right – healthy food choices and increased activity and you will live your life well,” she said.

When it comes to building relationships with patients, Elizabeth makes sure to focus on the beginning of their journey. “I try to build a rapport with the first visit, listening and hearing their concerns, treating each patient with respect – I want them to feel as I would treat my mom, sister or daughter,” she said.

Outside of work, Elizabeth likes to go fishing, crochet and read Agatha Christie mysteries.
