About Monica Broussard, PA-C

Monica Broussard, PA-C, specializes in orthopedic spine surgery at Utica Park Clinic on the campus of Hillcrest Hospital South.

Monica was inspired at a young age to join the medical community to serve others in their time of need. She decided that becoming a physician assistant (PA) was the and has become the best way for her to work with patients and be an intricate part of the diagnosis. She said being a part of the process from the beginning allows her and the patient to work as a team to formulate goals and treatments to reach an optimized state of wellness.

Monica wants her patients to know that when it comes to your health, knowledge is power. “My goal is to empower patients with the knowledge of their specific condition and provide medical treatment options and guidance to achieve a maximal healthy state”, she also wants to remind her patients that, “As a team we can work to get them back to or better health and wellness.”

Outside of work, Monica enjoys spending time with family, exercising and traveling.
