About Angie Hignite, PA-C

Angie Hignite, PA-C, specializes in plastic and reconstructive surgery.

“I was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma and had many opportunities in high school to volunteer at local organizations, which is where I discovered my passion for helping and connecting with people. However, it wasn’t until college when I volunteered at a local hospital that I discovered that medicine was my calling,” said Angie.

After completing physician assistant (PA) school, Angie worked in an underserved community for three years before returning to her hometown of Tulsa to practice medicine.

“After returning to Tulsa, I found a great teacher and mentor who inspired me to grow and learn within the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery. It has been an exciting time continuing to hone my skills and evolve as a provider,” said Angie.

Angie has been practicing within the specialty of plastic surgery since 2015. “My favorite part of the job is connecting with my patients on a personal level and helping them in any way that I can through what is often one of the most challenging times of their lives,” said Angie.

When Angie is not working, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and traveling.
