About Lora Collier, M.D.

Lora Collier, M.D., specializes in family medicine at Utica Park Clinic. She said, “I love being a family physician because I am able to start with my patients’ symptoms and then develop a plan for their treatment.”

Dr. Collier was motivated to pursue a career in medicine after a series of traumatic events early on in her life. She said, “After I was injured in a motor vehicle accident as a child and my mother developed cancer, I knew I wanted to become a physician to help others.”

Now, as Dr. Collier works to provide the best care to her patients, she makes it a known point that “preventing illness is important for a healthy life.”

Dr. Collier loves having the opportunity to provide care for people in all stages of life, from infancy to the elderly, which is one of the main reasons why she chose family medicine as her practice. She takes that opportunity to build a strong foundation with her patients through empathetic listening.

When Dr. Collier isn’t working, she loves being outside in nature and also enjoys poetry.
