Wendy Alexander, APRN-CNP, specializes in cardiovascular thoracic surgery at Oklahoma Heart Institute.

Wendy decided to pursue a career in medicine because she wanted to provide care to those in need and make a difference in people’s lives.

Wendy said she likes to build relationships with her patients on a foundation of good communication.

She said this helps her patients stay up-to-date and informed through their time at OHI. When Wendy isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her children, arts and crafts, outdoor activities, going to the performing arts center and sporting events.
